Specialised Microphonics / Noise Testing - People who are audiophile and have audiophile type systems or even play loud music need lower noise tubes, I relentlessly test both triodes of a tube for microphonics and noise. Monitored on industry standard headphones via my tube tester to my audio system.

Balanced Tubes? - One of the options via my website you will see is "balanced tube" what does this mean?. This means both sides of the the triode are equally balanced within a 2-3 % tolerance. Usually 1 in 5 to 1in 10 tubes test like this depending on brand hence the premium price as it takes considerable time testing each triode (and noise) for many tubes to identify matches.

Phase Inverter Options? - Balanced Tubes with lower Gain operate better in phase inverter positions as it's associated with splitting the signal into 2 (+/-) signals 180 degrees out of phase. I have done considerable experimentation with this and in my personal view they have the biggest impact on tone after V1.​​

High Gain Tubes? Mu is the standard measurement for gain. Preamp Tubes exhibit different measurements from tube to tube even from the same brand/type. As such I test then group them into Higher Gain or Standard Gain. 12AX7'S do frequently test over 100mu or under 90mu depending on brand.

Curve Tracing- I will be offering Curve Tracing soon. Curve Tracing in a nutshell perform Lab grade pulse testing and standard emissions tests a vacuum tube in order to ascertain the full scope of a tubes parameters and operation. Including Grid to plate graphs at different Voltages and much much more.
