I have developed long relationships with quality distributors and sources for New and Vintage NOS tubes.Every tube comes with a special logo sticker which stipulates that the tubes pins have been cleaned, the tube is tested, matched and then burned in (36-72 hours) on a custom station in order to reactive the cathodes and promote longevity plus beter tone. Additionally every tube has a special formula applied to assist with lubrication, electroconductivity and oxidisation. I sell a tube at a good price and guarantee reliability and quality. I

Description

NOS Ryazan 6n3p-ev Tubes. Formerly contracted by the venerable Svetlana tube company in the 80's - 90's to build their tubes as well as producing their own revered industrial vacuum tubes in the 70s - 80's which are sought after


This is a Mil Spec tube with a gain factor of approx 36-40 which is basically a 12ay7 gain factor with slightly higher current draw making it electrically similar to the 12AT7 but actually spec'd as a 5670/2C51. Quite a diverse tube that works differently in various applications.



Tone Profile

Has a smooth & warm vintage relaxed character but with pronounced bass. Not High Def, behaves quite linear, yielding more clean headroom (due to lower gain) throughout the audio spectrum.

Substitute: 5670,12AT7, 12AU7, 12AX7, 5751


Hi Fi

*Works absolutely well in Hi Fi audio (including Headphone Amps) in typical positions but particularly well in the V1 & Phase Inverter but will work in other positions great too. You will experience lower volume but more clean headroom.



Guitar Amps & Studio Gear

*Does a fantastic job fixing oversaturated / harsh sounding amps in V1 & Phase Inverter positions in Tube amps which use 12ax7's like Bad Cat, Dr Z.


* Produces a softer / warmer attack & decay for Tube Reverbs & Tremolos. I use this tube in all these ways, great results (see pics)


Studio Gear

Wonderful smooth vintage tone with in Studio Mic Preamps if size permits use of adaptor. *Not for use in budget range Mic preamps as they have weak power supplies.
