Description

NOS Svetlana EF86 (6j32p) tubes '75 - '79 models in fantastic condition. High Quality Mil spec tubes for highly enthusiastic audiophiles seeking exceptional tone and reliability. Superb Linearity but also Low noise, microphonics which can be a notorious issue associated with other ef86 tubes. A Very sturdy and well constructed tube that is well respected amongst the audio community.

Tone: Wide Dynamic Range. Rich robust tone with great clarity, linearity and balance across the spectrum together in addition to a touch of warmth.

Notes For Recording Engineers

My recommendation is the earlier models I stock, Tighter Tolerances, consistency and importantly lower noise (which is crucial) and still a fine tubes in it's own right.

Applications

I have re categorised All EF86's. All the earlier models are reserved for audiophile & Tube recording applications, These perform absolutely great for Hi Fi, brilliantly in Tube Guitar Amps & Hammond organs where dynamic range is less criticial than studio Tube Microphones.
