ProductsMy mission statement is, let my equipment find bad tubes or early failures, not you. I have developed long relationships with quality distributors and sources for New and Vintage NOS tubes.Every tube comes with a special logo sticker which stipulates that the tubes pins have been cleaned, the tube is tested, matched and then burned in (36-72 hours) on a custom station in order to reactive the cathodes and promote longevity plus beter tone. Additionally every tube has a special formula applied to assist with lubrication, electroconductivity and oxidisation. I sell a tube at a good price and guarantee reliability and quality. I

Description & testing

NOS 1958 RFT ECC83 / 12AX7 with foil getter - Funkwerk factory

Pins cleaned well, both triodes are tested for Gm & Ip and also includes Microphonics & Gain test measurements, something most vintage testers can't really do. All via regulated power supply.

Tone Profile

Richer, slightly sweeter tone with possibly more body then later the models but very much all the same, Killer midrange, mid focus, great clarity with some pronounced percussive / transient details

Tests slightly lower which is perfectly fine for the age, Tubes are in great physical condition both internally and externally, importantly they sound great too maybe a little more refined and sweeter compared to contemporary models.
